The world has lost a shining light for Jesus when Helen Bradley left for heaven. She was my Sunday School teacher in the 1980s at First Baptist Mt. Dora. After we both moved away, we remained friends. Helen’s hospitality was extraordinary. Her home was a delightful, peaceful place. I will truly miss God’s faithful servant. May God comfort Ron and Cindy.

Helen is a true servant of the Lord and she showed this in every aspect of her personality and in how she lived her life. If we could all be even a fraction of how Helen lived her life our world would be a more peaceful and loving place. Helen was very compassionate and loving toward everyone. She was a mom to many who have no parents. She was my adopted mom when I had no family in Florida. She opened her home to all of us during every holiday, during birthday gatherings and any time you wanted to drop by. She made everyone feel special, loved and included. She encouraged us to grow our faith and be a better person. She had a kind, silent, humble way about her but she always got her point of view across and made you laugh. I will never forget how she lifted my spirits with letters, and cards with words of encouragement when I went through my cancer treatments. My heart goes out to everyone who is missing Helen as I too have a heavy heart with an empty spot but I feel privileged that Helen was a part of my life. Helen was a special person to all of use and will be sorely missed. Teresa and Tom

It’s so hard to sum up a beautiful life in just a few words, but this write up certainly has hit some highlights.
When I see Cindy I’ll be reminded of the love that Helen had for her child, her husband, and for so many people.
