Obituary of Patrick C. Millis
Patrick C. Millis Cape Canaveral, Florida passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019.
Patrick was born in Aurora, Colorado. He later moved with his family to Pinellas Park, Florida. There he attended grade school and enjoyed the sunny and warm climate. Later in life, he moved to Daytona Beach and there he enjoyed the ocean sports the area had to offer.
During his senior year in high school, he lived in Melbourne, Florida where he graduated from Eau Gallie High School. He enjoyed J.R.O.T.C. so much so, that he worked his way up to Squadron Commander. During this time, he was also active in arts and drama. He had a part in the play, “West Side Story.”
He did well in the food industry. His leadership skills led him to being hired as a Manager for Dunkin’ Donuts of Merritt Island. He had opportunities to hire employees to keep the operation living up to its standards.
He is survived by his father, David Charles Millis; his mother, Shayna Maree Bell; his brothers Tyler and Kyle Millis; his step-mother, Beverly Perno and five step brothers. He also leaves behind additional step brothers and sisters from his fathers’ marriage with Helen Zerbe.
At the age of 8 he was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
