Jim Clark

Obituary of Jim Clark

Jim Clark died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born in Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Florida in 1989. Jim worked as a construction superintendent, specifically road builder, for over 40 years. But Jim was so much more than what he did. Jim was the love of my life, my soul mate, my best friend, he truly was my everything. Jim would have moved heaven and earth for me and did a few times, as we did home improvement projects. He had more love in his heart than I thought was possible for any one person to hold. He was a wonderful husband, loving dad, and dear friend to many. Jim loved people, laughing, and practical jokes. He could build or fix anything; it may not always look the best, but it always worked. Jim acted like a big tough guy, but in reality he was a big teddy bear. If you were Jim’s friend he would do anything for you, he truly considered you family. He loved life and enjoyed each day to his fullest. Jim was amazing at everything he did; if you don’t believe me, he would be the first one to say it is true. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Peggi; children Cassie, Ethan, Timmy, and Bridgette; granddaughter Reagan; sister Jacqui and her husband Ronnie; and additional siblings and son in Columbus, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his dad, mom, and his brother and partner in crime, Joe. Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Lake Washington Pavillion.
