Obituary of Rebecca Brooks Eastman

Rebecca Brooks Eastman passed away on November 30, 2019 under the care of Hospice of Saint Frances Melbourne, Florida. Born on August 8, 1942 to Jack (Jocko) and Loraine Brooks of Morristown, TN, she loved pets and theater performing in several school and community plays. She attended nursing school at University of Tennessee and received her Lab Tech licence at Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville, TN. She was formerly married to Jack Eastman of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Always on the move, Becky worked at hospitals in Tennessee, Alabama, Maine and Florida. Most recently she lived in Florida with her mother, Loraine Brooks Conder until her death. Becky was looking forward to a family reunion in heaven per God’s promise. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Brooks; her mother, Loraine Brooks Conder; step-father, Bill Conder and step-brother, Frank Conder. Survivors include brother, John Brooks and wife Janice of kingsport, TN and life long friend, Barbara Howard of Holden, Maine. A special thanks to Wisteria Elder Care, Melbourne Florida for caring for Becky this past year. Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care of Melbourne, Florida is serving the family. There will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any local animal shelter.
