Obituary of Robert Leon Ross
Robert Leon Ross has lived in Brevard County since he was three months old.+é-á He worked as an iron worker for Union Local 808 out of Orlando, and was owner/operator of R&R Lawnscapers for 23 years.+é-á Rob married Roxy Weir in September 1991, then had two perfect children, Stacey and Jared.+é-á They were the light of his life and he spent many hours playing with them.+é-á It was quite a sight seeing “Big Rob” drinking tea out of plastic cups with his pinkie out.+é-á The kids always had mini versions of what dad had: mask and snorkel, golf clubs, go carts, mini bikes, motorcycles, and most recently 4 wheelers.+é-á He was a great father who helped raise two great kids.
Rob is survived by his wife of 24 years, Roxy, children Anastasia (Stacey), and Jared (Dude), his mother Shirley Ross, father Robert Ross Sr, sister Cheryl Roth (David), brother Scott, one nephew and two nieces.+é-á Rob always enjoyed being outside during work or play.
Cancer may have taken his life but it didn’t take his spirit or sense of humor. He was making jokes and riding his bike until he couldn’t.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 19, 2016 at The Apollo motorcycle club at 5200 Grissom Parkway in Cocoa.
