Obituary of Michael F. Murphy

Michael F. Murphy, 68, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Palm Bay, Florida. He was born March 29, 1947 in Danbury, Connecticut to the late Joseph and Eva (Montessi) Murphy. He is survived by his spouse of 36 years Linda Murphy; son Jerome & Annalise Murphy; daughters Megan Murphy and Colleen Murphy & Eric Hausman; grandsons Anthony, Koa, and Trey; granddaughters Piper, Dazia, Tara, Ivory, Raven, Cassie, and Amber; great granddauughter Mia; brothers John Murphy, Timothy Murphy, and Daniel & Jessica Murphy; sisters Maureen & David Kohler, Mary & Kenny Sholomickey, and Paula Murphy & Joan Harris; brothers-in-law Joseph & Debbie Shinn, Jerome & Donna Shinn; sister-in-law Kathleen & Tony Corangi; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.A memorial gathering is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE Palm Bay, FL 32907.
