Obituary of Bertha Mae Grutzmacher

Bertha (Bert) M. Grutzmacher, age 95, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018; with family at her side. Bert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1922. She married her soul mate, Ed Grutzmacher, in 1946.  They were married for 53 beautiful years and together they had six children. Bert was a kind and gentle soul, with a quick wit that few people knew about.  She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.  She enjoyed watching movies with her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, family gatherings, playing bingo and interacting with her great grandchildren.  She loved purses, anything with elephants & bears, and Buddahs. She was loved by all who knew her.  She is survived by two sons, Dale (Joy) Grutzmacher, Jerry (Kendra) Grutzmacher; 4 daughters Nancy (Joe) Griffin, Diane (Nick) Lambrinides, Judy (Craig) Homrighausen, Peggy Grutzmacher; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grand children.
