Obituary of Leonzo Emanuel Miller
Leonzo Emanuel Miller, III was born August 28th 1944 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He entered the United States Coast Guard at age 19 and served faithfully for 10 years, achieving rank of Electronic Technician, Chief Petty Officer.
While serving in the Coast Guard Leon received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal LORD and Savior; From then on Leon served the Lord, preaching the gospel and leading people to Christ.
Upon leaving the United States Coast Guard Leon became a Fort Lauderdale police officer. Three years into public service he attained the rank of Sergeant. Upon leaving the Fort Lauderdale police department, Leon went to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s department where he worked until retirement after twenty-five years eleven months.
Leon earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Divinity.
Leon is survived by his wife, Consolacion Miller; son Leonzo E. Miller IV; daughter Kristen Miller; brother Roger Miller and wife Ann; sister Michelle Carr; grandchildren Christopher Brown, and Lovvie Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
On December 14th, 2018 at the age of 74, Leon went home to be with the Lord. His Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Brevard Worship Center, located at 6825 Babcock Street, SE, Malabar, Florida 32950.
