Really sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. He was such a character, who had a big heart. I remember riding with him looking for lots to build my house, and hour after hour listening to his spanish tapes. Of course I always joked about a lifetime guarantee on the house, guess it’s up now my friend. He officiated Harold and my wedding, (not sure if that was a good thing just kidding) I waited on Dave for years, he definitely had his opinions, but it made for a lively conversation.You will truly be missed. Dave was are neighbor for 24 years
He was a lot of fun to hang out with! Took me up on his plane several times , went out on his boat for several joy rides. My family loved him and Christy like they were are family!
I will miss him for sure !

The New York relatives send their loving thoughts to all of our woderful, wild and crazy cousins in Florida. You are all like Dave in one way or another…free spirits…seekers of fun and ready to party on a moment’s notice. It’s times like these that I wish we lived closer so we could have been there for you….and you for us, especially when life gets rough.
The memories we have of Dave are all as you describe…from him pulling up on his very cool motorcycle and giving us rides…to my little brother’s disappearance from the yard one day. Later when asked where he was… he said, ” oh, I went in a plane, kinda like a volkswagon inside to a town called Montauk and Dave bought me a hot dog……%$#@*!! Of course we wouldn’t have believed him…except that it was Dave ….and with Dave, ANYTHING was possible!
Here’s to you Dave…. to a life of adventure, to a life without boundaries…to a life well lived!!

Holding the memories is not the hurt. It’s the loneliness of it. As the memory of certain beloved friends lives in our hearts, we shall say that life is good. It is sadder to find the past again and find it inadequate to the present than it is to have it evade us and remain forever a harmonious origin of memory. So so sorry to hear this sad news. We go way back with Dave sharing Marker 21 on the INDIAN river with him and family. Our children basically grew up together as they were all small then. I will miss his on going phone calls saying “ where are you guys now?” We will miss you DAVE, we sure had some good times for many years!

David was a great friend and patient to me.He was very grateful after his operation and we enjoyed family and friends gathering at his home in Palm Bay and trips to CR. Always willing to lend a helping hand or advice, he had a great heart. We will miss him and celebrate his life, rest in piece in heaven!

Dave is a person who will be surely missed by many people. Butch and I loved the trips we took with him and Christy to Costa Rica. Especially the one he talked us into going to Nicaragua. Our thoughts are with his family
