Obituary of Salvatore Joseph “Sal” Apone

Salvatore Joseph “Sal” Apone, 84, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home in Melbourne. Sal was born in Boston, MA on July 26, 1929 to the late Michele and Adelina Malzone. His family includes his wife of 62 years Antonette; son and daughter in law Michael and Jane Apone; granddaughter and her husband Tracey and Peter Smith; grandson and his wife Scott and Brittaney Apone; great grandchildren Trevor Smith and Sydney Smith; brothers John Apone and Thomas Apone; sister Filomena Neri and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A son, Robert Apone and two brothers, Dominick Apone and Annuziato Apone preceded him in death.A memorial service was held in Florida.Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
