Family of Lucille Seales Fonseca, you have my deepest condolences. Lucille and Carol were major characters in my childhood in the west end of New Bedford. We had such fun at various places throughout the community, especially Cornell Hall dances. Rest on ole friend and enjoy your reuion with your sisters . Birdie

Miss you my dear cousin. I’m remembering the days of us all having so much fun either when you came to visit or we came to New Bedford. You, me, Susan, Carol, Micky, and Richard…laughing, giggling…just having fun. Susan says you’re the one who taught us to use “Dippidy-Do” to set our hair. Then it was the dances we went to at Cornell Hall. I cannot believe that the three of you are gone. I can hear you now, “Later, Red!” Yes, Lu…I’ll see you later…tater!

Michael & Anthony:
So very sorry for your loss. Your mother was one of a kind. We were in some of the same classes at Boston State and she always had the knack for making me laugh. What a great sense of humor she had – she was one of the most down to earth people ever put on this earth.
She will be missed sorely.

Dear family and loved ones, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. It has helped me and many others to know that the Bible promises that soon God “will swallow up death forever” (Isaiah 25:8) . May “the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,” comfort you during your time of sadness. (2 Corinthians 1: 3)

My dear Lu, you were a genuine, tough sister who brought sunshine to every setting. I recall the many great times in the “Pan” at your house and of course hanging with our Carrie. I know you are reunited with your dear sisters, and having a great celebration. Richard will be there to party with you again. Love and peace, Cheryl
