I am going to miss Mamie so much! She has been so good to me through so many years, kind of like my adopted second mom. I probably would have starved in college without her feeding me and sending me home with care packages. She handmade my son’s christening gown as well as many baby blankets. We spent unknown numbers of hours on the phone and sending messages throughout the years. I am so glad I got to see her and spend some time with her this summer and that she finally got to meet my son in person. I am also so grateful to have had her in my life. She’s leaving behind a whole in my heart that can never be filled, but I know she’ll be watching over us all….and wanting to tell us we’re doing it wrong so we need to do it her way. Lol. I love you Mamie! Rest In Peace sweet lady!
