My sincere condolences to Sid’s family. He was the first police officer I developed a professional relationship with as we worked juvenile. He with PBPD and I first with HRS and then with Juvenile Justice. Always good for a smile, I recall always knowing when he was in the building, you could hear that midwest drawl, his laugh, and always a smoke in hand. (Yes we smoked in the offices back then) Large, in charge and always the gentleman. Rest in Peace Sid you have served this community well and will never be forgotten.

Working with Sid in the State Attorney Office Peer Court was a pleasure. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing of his tales about the time he spent in New Orleans, my hometown. He loved the Crescent City as much as any native. He was a delightful person and a ‘hoot’ to be around. My condolences to his family.
