Obituary of Charles R. Greer

Charles R. Greer, age 68, passed on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Florida. Born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Pauline and Claude Greer, he moved to Florida in the 1980’s. Charles loved all things automotive, especially classic cars, which he possessed a amazing knowledge of. He enjoyed fishing, eating, motorcycles, buying/selling and eating. A gifted BS’r he enjoyed listening to Jackson Browne and spending time with his family. His family includes his wife, Shirley Greer; daughters, Bridgette Gifford, Chaz Soracco, Nicki Blackson, Amanda Lewis and Jamie Cox; grandchildren, Mikee, Phoebe and Peyton; sisters, Barbara Harrison, Sheila Nichols and Debi Wagoner; and his brothers, Jay Greer and Craig Durham.A Celebration of his life and gathering will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida 32901, on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 1pm to 4pm.
