Obituary of Aniceto T. Valendo

Aniceto T. "Arnie" Valendo, age 60, born in Garapan, Saipan, passed away on Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at his home in West Melbourne, Florida. He moved from Guam to Melbourne in 1999 to help care for his mother.  He was employed by OPIS Indian River Nursing Home for 17 years as a cook, where he made many friends who were like a second family. His family includes his son, Arnie James Jr Valendo and his wife, Francine; daughter, Denise Siguenza and her husband, John Salas; grandchildren, Christian Valendo, Tristan Valendo, Isabel Valendo, Arnie Valendo, Isaih Sablan, Zaliyah Siguenza and Kylie Siguenza; sisters, Patricia Helen (Rudy) Valendo Mesa, Teresita Valendo Enriquez, Joanne (Todd) Querubin Swartzman, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rufina Querubin and step-dad, Vic Querubin; brother, John Valendo; and nephew, Jesse Joe Cruz. On Monday, June 12, 2017 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne, the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with services following at 3pm.
