Obituary of Barbara Patricia Nunez

Barbara Patricia Nunez , 83, passed away June 7, 2018. She was born in Bronx, NY on November 25, 1934 and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Haskell, NJ. She married John Nestico and had two children, John and Cathy Nestico. In 1981 she married Eugene Nunez. She was a bookkeeper for Daniel Motors, and an accountant in the insurance industry for many years. Barbara was a member of Midvale Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was leader of the Methodist Youth Fellowship, amongst other committees of the church. She retired and moved to Barefoot Bay, Florida where she and Gene continued to be active in the Sebastian Methodist Church. Barbara is survived by her husband, Eugene Nunez; son John (Diane) Nestico; stepdaughters Debra (Jeff) Holm and Lisa (Andy) Castle and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Nestico and step-granddaughter Jennifer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to William Childs Hospice House (Palm Bay, FL), Sebastian Methodist Church or the Jennifer M. Pechko Foundation (Butler, NJ).
