Obituary of Theresa Mailloux Eldon

Our mother, Theresa Mailloux Eldon, left this life behind on Monday, December 4th. For 28 years our father, Robert Wray Eldon, waited for her in Heaven, and they are now joyfully reunited for eternity. We’re sure she is singing and dancing, and playing practical jokes on her mother once again! Mom is the proud mother of 10 children, 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She dedicated her entire life to caring for us, creating memories and setting standards for us that have been a positive influence on every aspect of our lives. Her faith in Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of everything she does, and her unwavering example of honesty, virtue and compassion are lessons that have made us each better people. Mom asked us not to have a funeral or memorial service…thinking that she would pass and no one would notice! But so many people HAVE noticed, and have asked us where to send flowers. In lieu of flowers, our family is asking that you consider a donation to a tiny church in Colorado that she loves dearly, and whose leaders and members have held her close to their hearts for over a decade. The Church is Denver Grace Bretheren Church, 725 South Eliot Street, Denver, CO 80219 We miss our mom, and know that all of you who know and love her will miss her as well. Thank you each for the part you played in HER life, and know that that part trickled down to each of us, her children. Thank you.
