Obituary of Lillian Harriet Esbensen
Lillian Esbensen, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017, in Palm Bay, Florida. Lillian was born on April 2, 1930, in New York City and grew up on Staten Island. In 1951, Lillian married Captain Paul Jack Esbensen, the love of her life. Together they built a beautiful home on Whitehall Creek just outside of Annapolis, Maryland where they lived and raised a family for 30 years.
Lillian and Paul were avid sailors and shared their love of the water with their four children, Paul, Eric, Carol, and Norma Jean.
Lillian was also a realtor in the Annapolis area for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her clients and helping them find their dream homes.
Most of all, Lillian loved being a mom and grandmother to Gretchen, Keith, Nathan, Emma, Lucas, and Emily. From Easter baskets to weekends on the Eastern Shore, Lillian was always there for everyone in her world. She was a kind, optimistic, and thoughtful person who always took care of the people around her. Lillian lived by her favorite saying, Live, Love, Laugh.
Throughout her life, Lillian touched many lives in a beautiful way. As a loving wife, the best mom, and always ready for fun grandmother, she will be truly missed.
