Obituary of Paul E. Morin
Paul Morin, 84, of Micco, FL passed away in the comfort of his own home on July 13, 2019, in the loving arms of his wife. Paul was born on November 24, 1934 to the late Romeo and Adelaide (Vaillancourt) Morin.
Paul was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by the love of his life, Claudette, his wife of 63 years, his three children Michael Morin of Rehoboth, MA, Susan (John) Cannarella of Clinton, CT, Paulette (James) Cherniawski of Pawtucket, RI, his grandchildren Tyler (Heather) Morin, Jennifer Morin, Amanda (Nicholas) Stabile, Emily (Stefan) Minea, Jason Cherniawski, Justin (Samantha) Cherniawski, great grandchildren Aiden and Alexa Cherniawski, Leo Jack Stabile and Sebastian Quint, brothers Henry and Albert (Ann) Morin, sister-in-law Jessie Letourneau as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Doreen Morin, sister Terrie, brother and sister-in-law Roland and Georgette Morin, sister-in-law Rita Morin and brothers-in-law Marcel and Roger Letourneau.
Before retiring to Florida in 1994, Paul resided in Seekonk, MA and had a long career as a truck driver working for Teknor Apex. He also served in the Seabees during the Korean War, stationed in the Philippines. Paul was an avid reader and loved finishing crossword puzzles in the daily newspaper. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping, traveling, cruising, playing cards and pool and spending time with family and friends. He fulfilled many of the items on his “bucket list” including a cruise to Alaska and skydiving on his 80th birthday.
