Obituary of McLawrence Joseph Alexis
McLawrence Joseph Alexis, the son of the late Edward Rueben Alexis and Margret Augustus Alexis was born on January 6th, 1936 in Carriacou, Grenada West Indies. He entered in eternal rest on Monday, June 17th, 2019.
Mike attended and graduated from the New York Public School System. After high school he became a member of the Local Union 147, a construction company where he served 42 years as a sandhog.
In 1998, Mike and his family relocated to Palm Bay, Florida where he became a member of the Palm Bay Senior Center and a member of Church of our Savior. Some of his hobbies included playing pool with friends, visiting family, playing basketball and watching the New York Knicks.
Whether you referred to him as Mack, Mike or PeeWee he was loved by all those that came into contact with him because of his generous soul, his witty personality, and fearless attitude.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Nadji Williams Alexis, his children Affi (Michaela), Nyisha, Michael, Lisa, Margret, Shakara, stepdaughters, Nataysha (Theron), Nakia and Nicole; his sisters, Winnifred McIntosh and Cynthia McIntosh; sister in law, Glenda Alexis; brother in law George McIntosh; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; his close and dear friend Lincoln Richards, other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be from 10-11 am with his funeral service to follow at 11 am on Saturday, June 29th at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, SE Palm Bay.
