Obituary of Bruce D. Ingram

Bruce D. Ingram ended his long, courageous battle with metastatic melanoma cancer on May 31, 2015. Bruce was born on November 12, 1948 in Columbus Ohio. He moved to Brevard County in 1977. He earned his Master+óGé¼Gäós degree in Communication from the University of Cincinnati. He was a major stakeholder in the development of South Brevard County+óGé¼Gäós commercial/industrial business sector in Palm Bay, Melbourne and surrounding areas. He played a significant role in the recruitment of more than 20 businesses such as Super X, Fujitsu-America, TRW, Gould, NIDA Corp, Demaco and Accudyne. Bruce was a member of the Brevard Economic Development Council and Executive Director of the Melbourne Area Committee of 100. In 1985, Bruce joined Cunningham & Associates Consulting. Within six months, he became a partner of Cunningham, and Ingram, later to become Cunningham, Ingram, and Anderson Inc. (CIA Developers). Together this team continued to grow industrial economic development in South Brevard County. Bruce is survived by his loving wife Carol Collins Ingram; her son Kyle Roberts; his dog Bowie and his cat Buddy. He had an extended family of friends, loved ones, co-workers, and business associates. Bruce was known for his extensive collection of antique advertising signs, stained glass lamps, blanket chests, and other collectibles. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Rex and his mother Dorothy Ingram; and his beloved black lab Samantha. Bruce was a +óGé¼+ôCharacter+óGé¼-¥ with a sense of humor who will be remembered for his love of life, jokes, friends, and the paradise he created at home. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday June 6, 2015 from 10AM to12 PM at their home.
