Obituary of Carolyn Elizabeth Scheid

Carolyn Elizabeth Scheid 92, of Melbourne Beach, Florida, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 4, 2019. She passed peacefully in the presence and overflowing love of her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Air Force Captain Roger A. Scheid, 10/13/1973. Carolyn last worked for Servomation Foods, in Lancaster, PA for 35 years before moving to Melbourne Beach, Florida in 1997 with her daughter, Bonnie L. Gosnell and her husband Stephen Gosnell. She enjoyed gardening and planting beautiful flowers everywhere. Watching cowboy movies was a favorite activity as well as baking Christmas cookies and loving on her dogs. Her granddaughter, Carolyn E. Eisberg, wife of Scott W. Eisberg, of Charleston SC was the light of her life as were her great grandchildren – Erin Sophia 5, and Abby Reagan Eisberg, 2 years old. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness, loving ways, generosity and infectious smile. She will be missed dearly by her family but we find comfort in that she is united in heaven with her talented commander son whose F-4 fighter jet was involved in a tragic accident while stationed in Germany. A private service was held in Melbourne Beach with family members. In lie of flowers, donations to William Childs Hospice House of Palm Bay, Fl are appreciated.
