Obituary of Felix Ortega-Reyes

1st Sgt. Felix Ortega Reyes, of Palm Bay, born July 2, 1926 and died Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Orlando. Felix has left us with a lasting memory of his great example as a devoted husband, father and American hero. He was a highly decorated veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His numerous awards include the Bronze Star for Valor in Vietnam. His family includes his wife, Elby Reyes; daughter, Yolanda Whigham; sons, Fred Reyes and Felix Orlando Reyes; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A committal service with full military honors is planned for Friday, January 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
