My deepest sympathy to Cindy and all of Kaz’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. Kaz and I worked together and were friends for many years. During our last project together we would often talk about how we looked forward to retirement. During the years there were a number of funny stories but my favorite was when he went flying on a 747 cargo plane to see if he could find the root cause of the HF system failures. Turns out they were transporting clydesdale horses and the horse urine was cause of failures.
I was glad that I had the chance to visit with him in rehab during my visit to Florida back in September. We chatted about old times for a bit and he told me he did not really want visitors. He asked for a hug as I left. Little did I know that would be the last time we would speak. I bought a bottle of cabernet sauvignon and lift my glass in a toast to celebrate Kaz.

Dave and I worked together on a couple of jobs over the years, but we were officemates for a couple of years and I got to know him better then. He was a good man and we shared many interests. He’s gone far too soon.
Words aren’t much at times like this, but may God hold you, Cindy, and the rest of your family close and ease the pain as much as possible.

Dave, “Kaz”, was a colleague and friend back in the day at RC. I remember his living on a sailboat when he first arrived. He was always a good person to be at work with and to enjoy some time off with. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends – he will be missed.
