He was born on December 3, 1939 in Lexington, North Carolina to the late Clem Willett and Lois Siler. Clem worked in the U.S. Navy as a Air Traffic Controller. He survived by his son, Mark Willett; friend, Amy Roadarmel; sister, Neatty Bivens and ex-wife Mary Sunstedt.
