Ronnie, my condolences to all your family. Your mom apparently left her mark on so many hearts and you will have many wonderful memories to re-live. Maybe in time you can remember the good times instead of the bad times leading to her death. Love You, Maxine

Josie worked for my dad ( Dr. Bill Ratliff ). For 35 years!!! She was family!! She actually carried me in the house when I was born and released from the hospital. My middle name is Jo—. From my Great Uncle Joe and Josie May. Dad continued his friendship with Jo and Doug until they moved to Florida. We are very saddened by her passing, but we know she is in Heaven with her husband and son. You are missed Josie!! Sending our prayers to the entire family!!

Jo was such a sweet soul. My neighbor while growing up at Mullins. A good friend to my mother. She tried to teach me how to decorate birthday cakes (which she made for everyone). Can’t forget the grape kool-aid with lemon slices and roasting potatoes on the edge of the river bank on summer nights. Wonderful memories of a sweet lady. Prayers for the family.

Granny Jo was such a beautiful soul that took care of everyone and would give you her last dime. If you went to her home you did not leave hungry she could take nothing and make a spread. This kind soul was one of a kind if you knew her you loved her. She was family I have wonderful memories that I will cherish for every. Prayers and love for everyone ♥️

With all the memory that we have of Aunt Jo, She was the sister that mom never had. They were so close. We grew up knowing Jo that would play with us kids and make every thing seem so good. The best cook around, she would take nothing and feed an army. Will love and remember as long as able. Love and Prayer for our family that lost such a great lady and the light for so many.
