Obituary of Rhonda Wanca

Palm Bay – Rhonda Wanca, 68, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019, peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Altus, Oklahoma, she moved around a lot due to her father being in the Air Force. She met her husband in 1971 at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In the year 1972 Rhonda married her best friend. Rhonda, her husband and their daughter moved to Bree Belgium in 1973. While in Belgium the family grew plus one when Rhonda gave birth to their son. In 1975 they moved back to the States at the request of family. Once state side Rhonda and her family continued to move around, this time due to her husband being in the Air Force. She eventually settled down in Palm Bay, FL in 1985 after her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Rhonda retired as an Office Manager for Kmart in 1998. Rhonda stayed busy after retirement by volunteering at the church. In the Summer of 2000 she became a grandmother, and from there on out she dedicated her life to her grandkids and family. A loving mother her family includes her husband, William Wanca Sr.; her daughter, Julia Tomberg and her Fiancé, Jason Goss; her son, William Wanca Jr. and his wife, Casey; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe, Connor and Megan; sister, Tanya Barton and brother, Donald Priske. Services are scheduled for Friday, February 15, 2019. Viewing will begin at 12:30 followed by mass at 1:30 P.M. Celebration of Life will follow the mass and will be held in the church hall. Viewing, Mass, and Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road SE., Palm Bay, FL.
