Obituary of Michael J. Holland

Michael J. Holland, 64 went to be with his heavenly father on May 4, 2018. He was born in Rantoul, Illinois on December 26, 1953 to Vera Holland and Joseph Holland. Michael lived a life most do not get to experience. He traveled the world and was a Jack of all trades. He also served in the United States Air Force, and worked at the Pentagon for 14 yrs. All who knew or met him would say, “What a loving, kind and jolly guy he was.” Micheal definitely left his mark on everyone’s hearts, and will be greatly missed by all. Michael is survived by his mother, Vera Holland; sisters Debbie Yoos, Mary Ward and Carolyn Gano; daughter Heather Holland; granddaughters Brianna Holland, Alexis Holland and Alexis Harger; brother-in-laws Gary Yoos and Steve Gano. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory St., Melbourne.
