Mary Zambrotto

Obituary of Mary Ellen Zambrotto

Mary Ellen Zambrotto, age 75, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Melbourne Regional Medical Center. Mary was born on March 30, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lucille Heuer and Walter Stempelmueller. Mary is survived by her husband Frank Zambrotto; children: Josie Richard, Tony Clearwater and Robin Miller and her loving dogs Lucy and Fredo. Mary was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Tiera Maillet, Chloe Goodman, and Mikayla and Cole Miller. During Mary’s younger years, she was accepted into Julliard; however, life brought her in a different direction.  Mary’s shift in plans did not stop her from continuing music.  Mary was a gifted piano player.  She did not learn how to play from a music sheet. Her gift came from her mind to her ears then to her fingers. Yes, she played by ear.  She was so talented that she was hired to play for Paramount Studios.  In addition, she performed in the Hollywood scene playing at several well-known establishments. After this adventure, Mary met who she would then spend the rest of her life with.  They met in Florida and ultimately landed in Las Vegas, NV.  They had many adventures together going from “rags to riches.”  What originally bonded the two together was their mutual desire to go into real estate.  Their journey started in Florida but almost immediately their path led them to Las Vegas, NV as they began dabbling into all kinds of money making adventures, while learning the real estate market. Mary and Frank picked up and moved to Melbourne, FL to be closer to family. Mary dove right back into real estate where she made her mark in the community, so much so that she eventually opened up her own real estate office until she retired in 1995. She treasured spending her retirement spoiling her grandkids and dogs. Her viewing was held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 9:30 a.m – 11:00 a.m with her funeral immediately following at Calvary Baptist Church, 2980 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL. Her burial was at 2:00 p.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 U.S. Highway 1, Mims, FL. Somehow, any person who came into contact with Mary, whether it be a friend, relative or a cashier at the store was affected by her amazing presence. She will be greatly missed, but her infectious spirit will live on forever.
