Obituary of Michael Patrick Kavanagh
Mike passed at home September 7, 2017, Palm Bay, Florida. He is now at peace and with God. Mike is survived by his wife Genoveva, stepdaughter Loreto Hernandez and precious granddaughter Loreta, sister Carol Taylor and her husband David, sister Suzanne Peppers and brother Daniel Kavanagh.
Mike was born in Rochester, New York and grew up in Churchville, New York. He received an Associate in Applied Science at State University of New York Agricultural and Technical College at Alfred. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at State University of New York College at Geneseo. He worked as a state and federal meat inspector. In the 80’s he moved to Belize and taught English, math and science and later in Mexico. He retired to Mexico where he met and married his beautiful wife Genoveva.
Mike was passionate about life and his faith in God. He loved raising and racing pigeons, growing vegetables, herbs and flowers. He loved music and played the guitar. Mike was brilliant, a little eccentric, funny and loved to talk. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents James Vincent and Arlene Catherine Kavanagh and his wife Victoria Kavanagh and baby.
