Obituary of Mary Catherine Hartery

Mary Catherine Hartery, 92 passed away Saturday February 4th, 2017 in West Melbourne, Florida. She was born in Boston Massachusetts and relocated to Florida with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Known by all as “The Nanner”. Mom played rummy and scrabble usually beating her opponent. She volunteered at the local elementary school and was very well known for her famous brownies. She was preceded by her husband Frederick Mark Hartery and her daughter Maureen Crook. She is survived by her children, Mark Frederick Hartery (wife Pamela) and daughter Catherine Bergum (husband Steven), 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Mass at 11:30 am on Saturday February 18th at the Florida Institute of Technology All Faiths Chapel 3216 Engineering Street Melbourne. Following mass guests are asked to join the family at the Bergum home.
