Obituary of Virginia Ann Burdett

Rockledge, Florida Virginia Ann Burdett, 66, passed away on December 11, 2017, following a battle with cancer. She was at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. She moved from New Jersey to Melbourne Beach in 1995. Virginia graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in physical therapy. She worked as a physical therapist for 44 years. Virginia was passionate about her profession and truly loved her clients. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Virginia cherished cooking family dinners, celebrating the holidays, living beachside and reading novels. Virginia is survived by her husband Luis Burdett; daughter Sandra Cox and her husband Tyler, son Marc Burdett and his wife Sara, and son Jon Paul Burdett; grandchildren Carissa, Delaney, Mateo and Mason; brothers Thomas and David Viglianti. She was preceded in death by her mother Lena (Musano) Viglianti and father Natalino Viglianti. Virginia’s celebration of life is scheduled for 4 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017, at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL (321) 724-2222.
