Jima, Bryan, Becca, and Alaina, I was so sorry to hear that a friend (a real friend) has graduated to his heavenly home. I missed you all so much when you all graciously left Freedom. I didn’t want to let you go. And I rejoiced the last time I got to visit with you. Kurt was an unusual man. He gave his all to everyone. I can picture his mansion up there in heaven. He has all the lights (every single one of them shining bright) in all the windows and throughout the inner rooms, and his welcome mat out front is huge. That just is a reflection of the wonder of your honey. No one even comes close to his giant and giving heart to this day. I am so happy you had so many happy years with him. He will always have a sweet place in my heart. I can see him playing with his Lord as he gazes at Him face to face. He will bow, and kneel and stand strong in his delight at finally being home—not to mention doing a glorious dance in perfect freedom. I can see Kurt dancing for hours unhindered by other people, his physical body not being tied down as a sandbag would anchor that person without apology or explanation. I can see him twirling as a young child only could. I am happy for Kurt.
But I am sad for all of you who were closest to him. That pain cuts deep in your grief right now, and you will never forget what a treasure he became through the years. God be with you! With much much love.
