Obituary of Johanna Kotschi

Johanna Kotschi, age 92, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Palm Bay Hospital. She was born on August 16, 1926 in Titel, Serbia to Michael and Katherina (Hütter) Karch. She emigrated to the United States in 1956. She lived in Flushing, New York and worked at The Hertz Corporation before she married Daniel Kotschi in December of 1967. She then moved to Cleveland, Ohio in order to help raise his five Children, Michael came along in 1969. Johanna, Daniel and Michael moved to Palm Bay, Florida in 1981. Johanna loved gospel music and had a beautiful Alto voice, she loved to sing in her church choir. She cherished her friends and family. Johanna is survived by her children Ruth, Helmuth, Lydia, Ester and Michael; grandchildren, Daniel, Irene, Kevin, Dean, Miranda and Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kotschi Sr.; Daniel Jr.; her sisters, Rosal and Sieglinde and her brother Helmuth. Johanna will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, and a compassionate mother who was a friend to all. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at West Park Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio a private gathering and reception will follow.
