Obituary of Kenneth T. Shields

Kenneth T. Shields, Sr., 82 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Elsie Shields on February 14, 1937. Kenneth retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of honorable service. After retiring from the United States Air Force, he became a recreation director in Greene, NY. He enjoyed coaching baseball and loved participating in various athletic events. He moved to Palm Bay in 1987 and was an avid antique collector who had his own business. Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth T. Shields, Jr. and wife, Ana Shields and their daughter, Desiree Shields; daughter, Debbie Drown and husband Gary and their daughters, Lyndsay and Rachel Drown; daughter, Laurie Carroll and husband Jim and their children, James, Taylor, Shannon and Tighe Carroll. Kenneth loved all animals, especially his dog, Lassie, from which he adopted from the Brevard County Humane Society. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 5 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901.
