Obituary of Thomas Charles Gill

Thomas Charles Gill, 91, died on January 1st, 2017. He was the son of Thomas J. and Lillian G. Gill and was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.  He is survived by his wife, Pearl J. Gill, of 73 years, and his four children, Nancy, Carol, Andy, and Jim, his six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Tom graduated from Boys High School in New York City and immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy to fight in World War II.  After the war, he worked for 46 years with Insulfab Plastics and rose to the position of Vice-President and General Manager of the company’s Franklin, New Hampshire manufacturing division. After retirement, Tom moved to Florida where he indulged his interests in woodworking, golf, and the latest technological devices. Tom was above all dedicated to hard work and to providing for his family.  He also served the community via Board of Director positions at Franklin Savings Bank, Franklin Regional Hospital, Officer positions with the Franklin Rotary Club and other community advisory roles.
