Dennis, you always made me laugh. Whether it was a joke, funny story, or a funny face. I can see that face right now, and I know you are upstairs, having coffee with Murray and Bruce, carrying on as you did in high school. When my time comes, y’all had better have a big EGHS 70’s group waiting for me! Terri

I have many fond memories of Denny all of which bring a smile to my face. We were close as boys growning to young men and then with families of our own. He continued to grow, experiencing life, becoming Dennis and being surounded by family, friends and co-workers that I believe truly cared for and loved him, as he them. His Uncle.

Denny was the life of the party. Extremely knowledgeable, it was fun debating things with him, though we both agreed marijuana should be legal. So full of life and love, Denny will be missed.

How I envied his ability to be himself at all times; take it or leave it. He was true and authentic. If you blew him off, you missed something. Everyone should have the heart he had for compassion and forgiveness. I was fortunate to have spend a wonderful week with him this past summer, visiting the family, and am thankful I have that memory. He was the older brother, I the kid sister who could make him madder than anybody else–but I sure loved him.

Blasting Bach on the speakers of “old blue!” Discussing philosophy on the bench swing.
Amazing retention of anything he read.
Working together on the farm was more fun than work

Memories of Cousin Dennis begin with happy emotions and laughter. Getting caught up in Denny’s stories was always easy. As an avid reader, he held so much knowledge. His passion for life was evident in his many action packed experiences. I truly felt treasured by my cousin! He always had a hug and a smile for everyone. He made you feel special with the way he connected mentally and emotionally with you. Lover of life. Lover of people.
