Happy for Mrs. Eswine’s ” graduation” into the arms of Jesus. I know that she will be greatly missed by all.

I have kept up with Mrs. Eswine through my son David. I am saddened by her death. She was a very dear lady, and a special person to me. She always had a smile and a comforting word…a very compassionate lady. I know her death will leave a void in the lives of her children. Even when it might be age appropriate, it’s very hard to lose a mother, especially one as loving as Mrs. Eswine. Condolences to her children on their loss and to all of those who love her and will miss her.n

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Eswine family. My parents were George and Mildred Cropp. They were Navy friends of the Eswines and also active in the Naval Fleet Reserve Association. My parents passed away within 45 days of one another, 20 years ago. But I’ll always remember my mom speaking fondly of Gloria.

Gloria: Your kindness and concern for others was always reflected through your children, who all grew up to be great role models. We will certainly miss you. Bob and Maria Seemer
