Obituary of Marsha Salyers

Marsha Salyers, 68, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Wuesthoff Hospice House, Rockledge, FL. She was born in Ashland, KY to the late Wayne Allen Salyers and Virginia Lee Lyons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 39 years, Virgil Salyers and her brothers, John Salyers and Stephen Salyers. Marsha is survived by her son Kenneth Salyers of Port Saint Lucie, FL; daughter Jennifer Echevarria of Melbourne, FL; son-in-law Dail Echevarria, Jr.; brother Keith Salyers of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren Hunter, Brooklyn and Kylee and many nieces and nephews, all who loved her. She worked as a Nurses Aide at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, KY. When she relocated to Fort Pierce, FL in 1991, she became a homemaker, while attending college classes at Indian River Community College. Marsha enjoyed arts and crafts and taking care of her family. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She had an infectious smile and would help anyone, in any way that she could. She was a member of the South Melbourne Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3395 Fell Road, West Melbourne, FL 32904. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
