Obituary of Paul David Kiewit
Paul D. +óGé¼+ôDavid+óGé¼-¥ Kiewit, 69, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away April 20, 2016. He was born October 2, 1946 in Seymour, Indiana to the late Edson L. Kiewit and Neoma G. Kiewit, Indianapolis, who survives. He is also survived by his loving partner of nearly 20 years, Gail Berger of Rockledge, Florida, and her daughter, Haley Hall. Other survivors include his sister, Karol (John) Siefer, of Indianapolis, and extended family members.
After graduating from Southport High School in 1964, he earned degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Oklahoma University and his J. D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law. David passed the Bar in both Oklahoma and Florida, and he pursued his law practices in both of those states and St. Thomas, the Virgin Islands. For nearly 30 years, David worked for the Department of Defense, developing, writing, and auditing conformance to defense contracts.
David+óGé¼Gäós spirit of adventure and passion for life helped him enjoy many hobbies including skydiving, scuba diving, several kinds of biking, skiing, reading, and travelling. He was also a pilot and an excellent marksman. He made friends easily and could engage in almost any topic with everyone he met.A celebration of David+óGé¼Gäós life will be held at a future date in Rockledge, Florida.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through www.buildinghomesforheroes.com.
