Obituary of Robert K. Hard

Palm Bay Robert K. Hard, 82, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Robert was born in Masonville, NY on September 16, 1936 to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Bush) Hard. He graduated from the New York State School for the Deaf in Rome, NY in June 1956. He married Kathleen Mary Dorr on September 29, 1962. He had worked for Amphenol Aerospace in Sidney, NY for 41 years and moved to Palm Bay from Unadilla, NY in 1998. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, boating, mechanics, wood working and camping. Robert’s family includes his wife of 56 years, Kathleen; three daughters and sons in law, Debbie Nichols and John Morrow of Palm Bay, Karen and Timothy Bleasdale of Spencer, TN and Suzanne and James Ritenour of Palm Bay; fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one brother, Jack Hard; two sisters, Joyce Hard Butts and Sharon Hard Signor; three aunts, Inez McCumbar, Peggy Davidson and Phyllis McMullen and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his father in law and mother in law, Frederick J. Dorr Jr and Margaret Alexander Burke Dorr; brothers in law Alton Butts Jr., Dale Hodges, Lee Signor and Frederick J. Dorr Jr. and sisters in law Terry Anderson and Arlene Dorr Morrison.
