Obituary of Lorraine Smith

Lorraine Smith of Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Long Branch, NJ, passed away on May 2, 2017. She was born in Long Branch and resided in Oceanport, NJ before moving to Melbourne. Lorraine retired as an account specialist from Fort Monmouth Army Base, Eatontown, NJ. Her passions were game nights and attending numerous events with her lifelong friends. She gave many volunteer hours to her commitment of community service. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Edward and son Bill. She is survived by her daughter Diana, granddaughter Carmen and Kelly and grandson Tim. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lorraine’s life celebration at 9 am on Thursday, May 11 at Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940. A New Jersey memorial will take place in late June. Gifts may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care.
