Obituary of Richard William Shaffner

Richard “Bill” Shaffner passed away February 1, 2017. Bill was loved by everyone. Born in Charlotte, he grew up in Cocoa Beach where he enjoyed surfing, baseball, and eventually coaching softball within the community. He was a dedicated husband, an adored father to his two daughters, and a beloved Papa to his four grandchildren. From his personal to his professional life, friends, colleagues, customers, and everyone who interacted with Bill was left smiling. Though he will be missed by many, he is at peace. Earth has lost a great man, but heaven has gained one.
