Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Yates

Margaret E. Yates, age 90, born on April 2, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland, passed on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Palm Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Palm Bay, Florida. While living in Maryland, she was active with Christ Lutheran Church in Elvaton, where she played the organ, was their Sunday School Superintendent, and organized a children’s choir.   She had attended art school and had a career in marketing. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Walter and husband, William Yates. She leaves her sister, Gloria Simpson and her husband, David; sister June Counterman and her husband, Bill; sister Mary Green and her husband Earl; along with many nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Maryland.
