Obituary of David Maurice Hebert
David Maurice Hebert, 65, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by his beloved children and son-in-law on August 22, 2019, from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
David was born in W. Wareham, Massachusetts, moving to Cocoa, Florida, in 1971. He graduated from Cocoa High School Class of 1972, and became an electrician. David was a proud member of the IBEW Local Union 606. He was an avid surfer, and loved all things involving nature and wildlife.
David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Evans Hebert; son, Cameron D. Hebert; daughter Alana (Ryan) H. Wood. He is also survived by sisters Linda Souza, Barbara Bemis, Rita McLean, and Theresa (Russell) Bailey; brothers Donald (Belinda) and Dennis (Laura); as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Virginia Greaney Hebert, and brothers Richard and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that if you are able, please donate blood or platelets to your local blood bank that others may live.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, Florida, on September 7, 2019. If you wish to offer condolences to the family or share a story about David, visitation at the church will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
