Obituary of Betty J. Meyers

Betty J. Meyers of Barefoot Bay, a former resident of Davenport, Iowa, passed quietly at her home after an extended illness. She was 92. Betty had a joy for life, and a loving, caring heart and soul. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony G. Meyers and her daughters, Diane L. Monroe and Betty J. Morgan. She is survived by her son John (wife, Gail) Kessler, daughter Kathy (husband, Roger) Bean, brother Richard Palmer along with two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. At her request, there will be no services or visitation. Her ashes will be scattered at sea per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity, plant a tree or rescue an animal in need.
