Obituary of Joyce Ninos

Joyce Ninos, 88, of Merritt Island, FL passed away surrounded by her daughters on October 10, 2015 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. Born on July 9, 1927 in Rangeley, Maine to Nathalie Huntoon and Harold Ferguson, Joyce moved to Florida where she worked for Pan American World Airways at Patrick Air Force Base. On August 10, 1960, she married John Ninos, who preceded her in death. Living at The Fountains in Melbourne for the past 4 years, Joyce enjoyed volunteering and participating in various social activities. She was a member at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a frequent volunteer and member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society. In 2009, Joyce received The Archangel Michael Honors in recognition for her faithful dedication and service. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Valery & Bill Stevenson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Stacey & Scott Reitz of Port St. John, Florida, her brother and his wife Holman & Wanda Ferguson of Rangeley, Maine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
