Obituary of Steven R. Fleming

Steven Roy Fleming, 86, died Friday, May 27, 2016 after a 25 year battle with prostate cancer. Steve was born in Millburn, NJ and graduated from Millburn High School. After four years and his honorable discharge from the US Air Force, he attended Newark College of Engineering. He was employed in the Heavy Highway Industry as Estimator and Project Manager and retired in 1992. Steve moved to Melbourne Beach with his wife Mickey where they enjoyed golf, fishing, and group activities with friends. After 52 years of marriage, Mickey died in 2005. Steve married Ruth (Huddleston) Fleming and together they enjoyed playing bridge, watching sports, and socializing with friends. Steve is survived by three children, Steven Fleming Jr and wife Cheryl, John Fleming and fiancé Kathy Gregory, and Susan Sharp; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
