Obituary of Lelys Glasse

Lelys Glasse, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, she moved to New Rochelle, NY then settled in Palm Bay, FL in the mid ’70’s. A registered nurse and midwife, she studied in Manchester, England and Glasgow, Scotland returning to Jamaica to practice nursing. She was then recruited to relocate and work in the United States in her chosen profession. She was a long time member of the Palm Bay United Methodist Church holding various leadership roles and serving her community. A devoted and loving mother, she will be missed by her daughter, Ann, family and many friends. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:30pm, Saturday, June 29th at Grace & Mercy Ministries 1555 Port Malabar Blvd. Unit 103, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
