Obituary of Bryan H. Blackledge

Loving son, father and husband as well as fiercely loyal friend of many, Bryan H. Blackledge left the arms of his family and went back to God’s care on October 6, 2017. Bryan loved music and people.  Following his love, Bryan crossed the United States several times, meeting and creating lifelong friendships. He was an Eagle Scout.  He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he met and married his college sweetheart.  They then transfered to San Francisco State where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After college, he began work as a warehouse manager in San Francisco and moved up to an ever-increasing set of responsibilities including two start-up ventures. He is survived by his wife Wendy; his children, Zoe and Hunter; his parents, Ronald and Lillian; his brother Kevin; and his mother-in-law Loretta O’Connell. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Melbourne at 1:00 PM on Monday, 16 October.
